We are celebrating this mexican tradition

the 1st of November from 11:30 to 15:00 in Solsalen, Ingerslevs Boulevard 3, 8000 Aarhus C.

We celebrate the great mexican tradition with different activities and a presentation of Mexican dance.

Among the activities you can get your face painted in the style of Day of the Dead, paint small figures (calaveras). And participate in a digital quiz and even a lottery.

The Mexican dancer Adriana Valdespino will present a show of Mexican dance with her dancing group.

Come and join us at this exciting event and enjoy yourself in an cosy latinamerican environment.

The concert with Bola Suriana
the 12th of october 2025

Today Raíces presented a concert in Aarhus with the mexican music band Sola Buriana, touring Denmark with it's warm and lively folk music. a really nice experience.

The two mexican dancers, Terése and Adriana acompanied with the music of Bola Suriana also presented us for mexican dance in a very colorful and vivid version.

A very nice and uníque experience.

A unique event of mexican music in Aarhus

We are proud to present the mexican music band Bola Suriana in Aarhus, a unique oportunity.

Bola Suriana is visiting Denmark in these days to present their folcloric music to the public in Denmark.

The inscripcion / matriculation to our spanish clases for children in the city of aarhus for this term is starting now.

The clases takes place saturdays in the morning between 9 o`clock and 12:45 in N. J. Fjorsgade Skole/ Kultur og Fritidscenter, Frederiksbjerg in the city of Aarhus.

The teaching starts the 8th of Marts and last

until the 14th of June.

The clases are primarily for children of spanish-speaking families living in Denmark to asist and help them to maintain and develop their spanish speaking skills.

Our school Mi Escuelita offers 4 levels for integrated age groups of children:
1. for the ages of 2-3 years

2. for the ages of 4-6 years

3. for the ages of 6-8 old years, and

4. for the ages of 8-12 years

Most of the time the families (parents) stay at the place, while their children are joining the clases enjoying speaking spanish between them and relating to each other.

The teaching is a payed service to cover the salaries and materials, but it is not expensive due to the fact that the responsible organizer Mi Escuelita / Raíces is a volunteer, non profit cultural asociation. And our teachers are profesionals, educated and experiensed within the formation and education of children.

Our school is called Mi Escuelita and teaches children in spanish for spanish speaking families and bilingual families. To help the children maintain and develop their spansh language skills. The teachers are profesionally graduated teahcers from latinamerican countries. Come and have a look for your self. This activivity is an opportunity for spanish speaking families or families who want their children to learn spanish and get more acquainted with and develop their knowledge of the latinamerican cultures - no matter their nationality..

We offer 5 different clases / levels for children from 2 years old to 12 years old.
And all the teachers are graduated professionally as teachers in their respective countries.
