Story telling in spanish for children

Join us every saturday to travel to remote and extraordinary places where everything is possible and your imagination transform into a super power.

And while the children join the story telling lessons and plays with other children
the parents can meet other parents from bilingual families and enjoy a cup of coffe or te.

Time: Saturdays between 10 AM. and 12 AM.

We celebrate the story telling of CuentaCuentos at the same place and time as Mi Escuelita celebrates the spanish clases
for children of bilingual families. This way it gives you the great opportunities join the spanish/ latinamerican
community relating to other bilingual families. You can join the other families bringing you own té or café
or visit the cozy cafeteria Gaía in the very same place.

Yamanic Martínez - volunteer and coordinator of CuentaCuentos

I am Yamanic Martínes, from Mexico and 47 years old. I became a proud mother 10 years ago. I love children and they are very important to me.

Due to this I became very exited to get the opportunity to join the acivities of Raíces, Mi Escuelita and especially of our story telling activity Cuenta Cuentos.

Personally I think that the story telling for children is a very important aspect to develop their fantasy, their creative skills and their ability to learn about lifer and reflect about it in a lot of ways. And furthermore to stimulate their interest in reading and discover the big variety in the ways we live our lives all around.

I believe that CuentaCuentos create a room and space for the children to entertain themselves together with other children while stimulating their interest in learning to read and write, to develop their joy of learning and literature. And to develop their skills of fantasy and imagination.
